$SEEK Distribution
As part of the Seekers Network, we are committed to building a comprehensive and valuable dataset with the help of our vibrant community, the Seekers Collective. To recognize and reward your invaluable contributions, we’ve established a token-based reward system using $SEEK tokens. This system is designed to be straightforward and fair, ensuring that you are compensated for the unique data you provide.
How $SEEK is Distributed
For each submission, you can earn 1 $SEEK token for every unique data entry you share, up to a maximum of 5 $SEEK tokens per submission. The total reward is determined by the following formula:
This means that if your submission includes more than 5 unique entries, you will still receive only 5 $SEEK tokens for that submission.
Example Scenarios
To illustrate how the reward system works, consider the following examples:
Submitting 5 unique data entries will earn you the maximum reward
min(5,5)×1= 5 $SEEK tokens
Submitting 2 unique data entries will earn you:
min(2,5)×1= 2 $SEEK tokens
Submitting 4 unique data entries will earn you:
min(4,5)×1= 4 $SEEK tokens
Special Cases
It’s important to understand how the system handles certain situations:
Submissions with more than 5 unique entries: Even if you submit more than 5 unique entries in a single submission, the reward is capped at 5 $SEEK tokens.
Repeated or previously submitted data: Any data that has been previously submitted by you or others, or is not considered unique, will not be eligible for rewards.
Submissions with no unique data: If a submission contains no unique entries (i.e., all entries are duplicates or have been previously submitted), you will not receive any $SEEK tokens for that submission.
We believe this reward system strikes a balance between encouraging contributions and maintaining the quality and uniqueness of our dataset. Your participation as a member of the Seekers Collective is invaluable, and we look forward to seeing the diverse and unique data you bring to the Seekers Network. Thank you for being a part of our community!
